7 September 2023, on the way back to La Ciotat. In the early afternoon, Ipharra reaches the Aeolian Islands under a dappled sky, then sails along tall cliffs of volcanic rock. In the evening, the sky turns violet.

The next day, the sea is like glass at the foot of the cliffs from 7 a.m. Then Panarea, a small island of white houses, with Stromboli on the horizon: I saw it erupting.

On the 9th at sunrise, the islets and the boats at anchor stand out against the light, before heading on to Procida.
